Pam is a Licensed Professional Counselor, with more than 25 years of experience working in the mental health field, and providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults. She is experienced with treating a vast spectrum of mental health issues and diagnoses and works with individuals, families and couples. She has expertise in treating anxiety disorders, depression, trauma and abuse, PTSD, ADHD and relationship and family conflict, including women’s issues.

She helps her clients improve their moods, make more informed decisions, enjoy more rewarding relationships and experience greater overall satisfaction with their lives. Her approach to psychotherapy is person-centered and holistic. It includes a Trauma Informed focus, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches and Mindfulness and Somantic techniques. In addition, she incorporates a life coaching component with an emphasis on mind, body and spirit.

Pam obtained her Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the Medical College of Virginia; she is licensed in VA and NC. She supervises Residents in Counseling, helping them become competent and caring Counselors. Pam brings many years of experience working in various leadership positions, across a wide array of settings, committed to improving outcomes for persons struggling with mental health concerns. She is dedicated to reducing treatment stigma and advocating for advances in treatment protocols.
