Family Guidance Centers
Accessibility Statement
Effective date: October 4, 2026
Family Guidance Centers is committed to providing people with disabilities equal access to our services, programs, facilities, communications, website, and digital resources. We work to identify and remove barriers and to provide reasonable modifications, appropriate auxiliary aids and services, and information in accessible formats when necessary.
Digital Accessibility
Family Guidance Centers is working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level A and Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make digital content more accessible to people with visual, hearing, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Our accessibility efforts include reviewing website navigation, keyboard access, headings, links, forms, color contrast, text alternatives for meaningful images, captions, downloadable documents, mobile presentation, and compatibility with commonly used assistive technologies.
Accessibility Assistance
If you have difficulty accessing information, completing a form, requesting an appointment, using an online feature, or obtaining services because of a disability, please contact us. We will work with you to provide the information, communication, or service through an accessible and effective method.
Available assistance may include, when appropriate:
- Qualified American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters, including video interpretation, or other qualified interpreters;
- Information in large print, accessible electronic, audio, Braille, or another effective format;
- Assistance using an online form or accessing information contained in a document;
- Reasonable modifications to policies, practices, or procedures; and
- Another effective method of communication selected after considering the individual’s communication needs and request.
Required disability-related aids, services, alternate formats, and reasonable modifications are provided free of charge. Family Guidance Centers will not require an individual to bring or pay for their own interpreter.
