Dr. Taylor Gotovac

Dr. Taylor Gotovac is a clinical psychologist with years of experience providing therapeutic and assessment services. She obtained her undergraduate degree from UCLA (Magna Cum Laude), her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Columbia University, and her doctoral degree from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She completed her APA accredited predoctoral internship at The Help Group in Sherman Oaks, CA where she provided therapeutic services and completed comprehensive psychological and neurodevelopmental evaluations for children and adolescents in both school-based and outpatient settings. As part of her post-doctoral training, Dr. Gotovac provided therapy services, including co-leading social skills groups, and completed comprehensive psychological and neurodevelopmental evaluations across the lifespan. Once licensed as a psychologist, she supervised doctoral practicum students in psychological assessment within a group practice setting. She has a passion for providing neurodevelopmental assessments and is trained using the ADOS-2. Her assessment approach is integrative, collaborative, and therapeutic in nature.

Her main interests include working with individuals with autism, ADHD, anxiety, and social and behavioral challenges. She has received training in evidence-based practices including Functional Family Therapy (FFT), The Incredible Years (IY), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Seeking Safety (SS), and she is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). She is licensed as a psychologist in Virginia and California.
