“It is in the unknown where all possibilities exist. Enter it with grace.” Unknown
At this very moment, so much about life is unknown. This can be a scary reality to face alone, and it does not have to be any longer. So come along with me, as we discover YOU and pick up some tools along the way to navigate the unknown and challenges of life.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a total of 11 years of clinical experience across a wide variety of specialties. I have worked in a school, in a correctional facility, with substance abuse programs, with veterans, and in private practices with individuals of all ages. These experiences have equipped me with a breadth of skills to treat a range of presenting problems such as obsessive-compulsive disorder, grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, and others. I am particularly drawn to acceptance and commitment therapy and exposure with response prevention, but hold expertise in a variety of other treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral approaches, dialectical behavioral therapy, and family systems theory, among others. The intersection between faith and mental health is a special interest of mine, which I am more than happy to explore, should this be of interest to you. In my free time, I enjoy being outside and living an active lifestyle, exploring new foodie spots, participating in church events, and giving love to as many dogs as possible.
