Celeste Lahocki is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her Masters in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Childhood Studies from Christopher Newport University. She has several years of experience working in the mental health community with children, teenagers, families, and adults. She started her career working with children with ASD and then spent a few years working in intensive in-home treatment with children, teens, and families. She then moved to outpatient therapy for her Residency and continued working with a wide range of diagnoses and populations.
Celeste utilizes a Person-centered approach with DBT, CBT, and Behavioral influences. She specializes in depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral issues, trauma, low self-esteem, and more. Celeste highlights the importance of having a structured plan for treatment for all clients and helping each individual meet their desired goals throughout therapy. She also encourages coordination and involvement of family members and other providers in the client’s treatment to ensure each individual meets their goals and is provided valuable care.
In her free time, Celeste enjoys painting, drawing, and creating in general. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, her dog Yuki, and her two cats Sora and Socks.
