Caitlin has a supportive, person-centered, trauma-informed therapeutic style. She enjoys working with adults and teens who are experiencing challenging life transitions, anxiety, grief, issues with self-esteem and relationships, and more. She has a strong background working with people from the LGBTQIAA population. Her approach is foundationally Person-Centered and often draws from Relational Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Solution Focused Therapy, and more depending on your unique needs and strengths. Caitlin values a strong therapeutic relationship above all and loves learning about you from the start and over time.
Caitlin received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Christopher Newport University in 2016, her Master’s in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2018, and was licensed in 2023. She has been providing mental healthcare in multiple settings since starting her Master’s and has been providing outpatient therapy since 2020. Caitlin loves food, style, podcasts, her cats, and exploring nature and the city.
