Brooks Gale

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Brooks Gale is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who specializes in helping adults struggling with OCD, anxiety, depression, and other challenges that can leave people feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the life they want to live. He believes that meaningful change begins with feeling safe enough to explore difficult thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment. Reaching out for therapy can be difficult, especially when you have been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted by patterns that seem impossible to break. Brooks strives to create a supportive and compassionate environment where clients can gain insight, build new skills, and move toward the life they want to live.

Brooks works with adults facing a variety of concerns, including obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. He understands that every person’s story is unique and believes therapy should be tailored to each individual’s needs, strengths, and goals. Whether you are navigating a difficult season of life, struggling with intrusive thoughts, managing overwhelming emotions, or seeking greater fulfillment and balance, Brooks will work alongside you with empathy, respect, and encouragement.

His approach is collaborative, person-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practices. Brooks integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Habit Reversal Training (HRT) to help clients develop practical tools while building greater flexibility, confidence, and resilience. He believes that therapy is not about becoming a different person, but about learning new ways to respond to life’s challenges while staying connected to what matters most.

Brooks earned his Master of Social Work degree and has experience helping adults overcome a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. He is particularly passionate about helping individuals break free from cycles of fear, avoidance, and self-criticism so they can live more fully and engage more deeply in the relationships, values, and activities that bring meaning to their lives.
