Ms. Heard has been practicing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 30 years. She graduated from Radford University with her Bachelor’s Degree in 1983 and then received her Master’s in Social Work in 1985. Her experience includes supervising the children and adult outpatient services at Richmond Behavioral Health Authority for several years. Further, she provided therapy to children with serious emotional needs and mental health services to adults with issues of anxiety, abuse, depression, bi-polar symptoms and trauma. Ms. Heard supervised the Intake Department at the Tucker Pavilion through the Emergency Department for 5 years. Ms. Heard brings a wealth of experience in providing supportive care to a multitude of clients seeking emotional wellbeing.
