“I believe it is my responsibility as a clinician to respect and understand my clients in terms of the challenges they are facing. Through the use of the therapeutic relationship we can explore their current situation and discuss how to best utilize their strengths to cope or promote the necessary change. Just as all individuals are unique, so is the development of strategies to resolve their conflicts.”
