Teresa Wulf-Heller has worked in the field of social work for over 30 years. She earned her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University, focusing on Women Studies and Ethnic Studies. In 1990, Ms. Wulf-Heller received her Master's Degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She spent twenty-five years at Community Services Boards and five years at McGuire's Veteran Administration Medical Center and has enjoyed a wide breadth of clinical experience. Ms. Wulf-Heller works with adults and adolescents. She also has experience working with the LGBT population, military families and veterans. Her primary areas of interest include: depression and anxiety disorders, women's issues, relationship problems, substance use disorders and other addictions, trauma, grief, and self esteem. Ms. Wulf-Heller's work is person-centered and strength-based. While using multiple modalities, her eclectic approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy.
