Sara McGrath is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has experience working with children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays, chronic medical and mental health conditions and learning disabilities. Additionally, she has experience working with families and individuals dealing with: end of life, grief, trauma and military families. Sara received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from James Madison University and her master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Sara is currently working with children, adolescents, and adults. She focuses sessions on helping clients/families help themselves through discovering patterns, triggers and habits that may be "keeping them stuck". Through her therapeutic approaches she helps clients set realistic goals while gaining self-awareness through the sessions. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities and volunteering as a coach in gymnastics for special needs children.
