Natasha Caravati is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Board Certified Counselor. She received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech in Sociology and minor in Psychology, and her Masters in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She has vast experience working with children, adolescents, families and young adults. She utilizes different therapeutic approaches in session including cognitive behavioral (used for depression and anxiety), structural family, play techniques (good for kids who have low expressive language), and person centered counseling approaches.
Natasha has experience working with clients struggling with ADHD, child behavioral problems, anxiety, depression, family problems, foster care, and trauma. Christian counseling is available if desired by the client. Through her therapeutic relationship, she supports her clients and offers encouragement as they learn to navigate their trials in new ways. She is also a published author, her book titled Receive helps lay out her clinical approach with clients using personal stories from her life and a Christian lens. In her free time, she enjoys being outside and spending time with her husband, two sons, family, and friends.
