Karen D. Angeloff, LCSW is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University's Master of Social Work program and the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire for her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She has over 25 years of experience in behavioral mental health, working with at-risk youth and their families. In addition, she has worked with adults with mental health diagnoses in a psychosocial rehabilitation (day) setting along with homeless veterans through outreach services at the VA in Richmond, Virginia.
Karen's approach to working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, is in meeting each individual where they are; exploring their needs and goals and assisting them in growing and discovering their potential in all areas of life. She has always been passionate about helping others along their journey, to be all they can be, and learn the lessons in the challenges presented to each of us. She creates a safe place that allows her clients to fully explore their potential through various modalities that include mindfulness, energy work, and holistic approaches; utilizing your innate strengths to get you where you want to be. Karen is also a reiki master that further enhances her work with others.
