Christine L. Amabile is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who currently works with children, adolescents and families. Issues she addresses include ADHD, OCD and anxiety, depression, grief and loss, substance abuse, behavioral issues, anger and stress management, parenting support, crisis intervention, educational issues and trauma recovery. She also understands and treats children affected by Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder (PANDAS/ PANS) and is a member of Pandas Network and Pandas Physician Network. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Minor in Sociology and Masters in Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her previous experience includes providing child and family therapy at Chesterfield Mental Health CSB for 13 years and as the lead clinician in an acute psychiatric care hospital setting for 5 years. She previously provided child mental health sensitivity training to first responders and facilitated juvenile court mental health evaluations for Chesterfield County. She is a founding board member and a committee chair of a local nonprofit charity spearheading PANDAS advocacy and family support (PRAI). She currently works as a school social worker for Chesterfield County Public Schools and is a member of the Family Assistance Crisis Team.
