Andrew Routh has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2003. He received his Master's of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from VCU/MCV in 1998. He has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, families, and couples. He has a passion for serving individuals of all ages and works to establish a positive therapeutic relationship with each client. In addition to addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance abuse, and behavioral difficulties, he also has experience serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He is experienced in trauma informed treatment, Solution Focused Brief-Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Additionally, he effectively applies strategies of life coaching, mindfulness and other therapeutic techniques as he seeks to address the specific needs of each client.

In addition to 16 years of providing therapeutic services, Andrew also possess 2 decades of experience as a manager, clinical director, and business consultant, and draws on this experience when a client would benefit from it.

Andrew believes everyone possesses the desire and ability to live a successful and joyful life regardless of their past issues or current circumstances.
